Rich Hoyer found this Hermeuptychia sp at 1100 meters on the Loja-Zamora road ; it clearly is our morphotype 4 (see https://www.sangay.eu/en/fiche-papillon/019-Satyridae/003-Satyrinae/001-Euptychiini/021-Hermeuptychia/049-pimpla%2C+cucullina%2C+maimoune+Group+overview/_) of which we know only two specimens collected in the rio Paute valley, the Southern limit of Sangay NP.
this morphotype looks just like the maimoune illustrated on BoA.
