these butterflies pictured by Michael García near Yangana and by Daniel Hualpa near Vilcabamba look quite like both Vacerra litana and Vacerra bonfilius.
but these two, variable, species are said to fly, for one, from Mexico down the the Caribbean Coast of South America, and, for the other, from Peru to Paraguay ; hence, which species flies near Vilcabamba and Yangana ?
