Male

wingspan : 28 mm

Dalla grovius, from 1900 to 2500 m on the Jimbura-San Andres road.

we've noted, here and in Sangay NP, that, in case of a big hatch of Dalla grovius, we find specimens which look like Dalla grovius, but with pale yellow markings instead of yellowish orange, and the head, thorax and abdomen of which are a brilliant green.

this form affects, maybe, one butterfly in twenty or forty.

we could find no mention of these forms, and we don't know what their status could be ;

we put them on this page.
