these butterflies from Macará, el Jorupe and Vilcabamba look like Gorgythion beggina.

it should be the same in the Western part of Loja Province, but here, in Loja, we have no image showing the underside of the pictured specimens,  as we had in Cotacachi Cayapas, so we have two possibilities, alcandra if the UN is part white, beggina escalophoides if it is a uniform brown.
