Ithomeis aurantiaca is a species with many ssp ; it flies in Amazonia.
it's been pictured at las Orquídeas by Karen Nichols ; this specimen, like those from Sangay NP, is not very different from Ithomeis aurantiaca mimica although it has much less black and wider hyaline areas.
