technically this picture is not good, obviously, but from an entomologist point of view it is just fantastic !
this butterfly is Napaea tumbesia, known from only two specimens collected near Tumbez (Peru), and from a third one pictured by Priscilla and Hank Brodkin at Reserva el Jorupe.
